For Black History Month 2021, Mia was commissioned by 24Kitchen Street to create a visual project that explored Black History in Liverpool.
The final product was a 15-minute documentary that explored the experiences of 7 people from L8, with a range of musicians, sports personalities, and community activists being involved.
Mia was responsible for the production, direction and editing of the project with the final film being screened during Black History Month at 24Kitchen Street alongside a panel talk with notable members of Liverpool's Black community.
